On my way home from NYC on January 29, 2009 I caught this picture that I have grown to love.  Originally, I thought it was trash and almost deleted it, but after I looked at it and decided it's a little like life.  You can see most things coming at you, but on the horizon everything converges and blurs into a misty blue.  Not so deep, I know, but gave me a few things to think about.  It was shot driving on I-80 somewhere in Pennsylvania. 



January marked the beginning of rehearsals for Flanagan's Wake with Noble Fool.  The rehearsal process was very rewarding since usually there is not much of a rehearsal process because much of the cast has been playing roles for several years.  This cast is very fresh and new on the scene of theatre.  Some are just graduating from college or have just entered the professional world.  A couple of us have been doing the show for years and we welcome the fresh perspective.  The time during rehearsals with the directors was very nice and well-received.   This current installment of Flanagan's will be playing through the end of March.  If you get a chance to come, you won't be disappointed.



Last Tuesday, Feb. 10,  I started a Singing Technique class with Noble Fool's Performing Arts Academy.  There are 12 young ladies and one young man who will be performing some of the music from Mamma Mia on Mar. 17 at 5:30pm in The Studio Stage (Preservation Hall) at Pheasant Run Resort.



I have been busy getting my Music Studio ready for a late Spring recital which will probably happen May 18, or thereabouts.  I currently have about 25 students that will perform Musical Theatre and Vocal/Piano songs on their instrument.  I will keep you posted as to the Day/Time/Location if you would like to attend this Free, Family Friendly performance of today's rising musicians and students.

Auditions for Disney's High School Musical 2 with Noble Fool's Youth Ensemble will be on May 1 (7-10pm) and May 3 (5-9pm) on the Studio Stage at Pheasant Run Resort.
