I am not normally superstitious, but today when I woke up I felt like I was in a bad 2003 movie called "Freaky Friday." I'm glad it is over.
Things have been clipping along for me, as I am sure all of you have been busy with spring (I mean winter, no i mean spring)...whatever season we are in right now considering it snowed a lot this week. Let's hope that is the end of that.
We had auditions for Forum with Summer Place Theatre on Wed and Thur this week. It was a decent turn out, and with Callbacks tomorrow the directors think they will be able to cast the show. We had more men than women, which is normally reversed with most castings of shows. My favorite moment was when I lost my hearing in my left ear and the never ending headache that lasted the rest of the night. Oh btw-never bring me "Mr. Cellophane" to play at auditions!
Tonight, I had understudy rehearsal for Musical of Musicals, theMusical. I have been working with Tom, the pianist and Mike, the SM. I am so grateful to have this time to rehearse the show with the people who have been running the show for months. AND they are both nice guys who are great at their jobs. This show was just extended until July 21, 2007. I am not scheduled to go on as of yet, but there are still a few months. While I hope Tom doesn't have to miss any shows, it would be great to perform the material.
Flanagan's Wake will be closing on April 29. This never-ending show has helped me in many ways throughout the years. I am sad to see it go, but from what I understand, Noble Fool will be bringing it back seasonally around St. Patty's Day.
I finally got the High School Musical Pictures up on my site. pictures.ken-jones.com/hsm.html . I uploaded them to Slide and created a slide show and embedded the html on my site. I think it is a nice change from my standard picture pages format, and it features my kids as the stars they are.
TOO MUCH happens in our lives, and I am happy to have shared a little bit of my world with you. Thank you, TOO MUCH!
