Today is the EARLY beginning of Daylight Saving Time. HOW RUDE! On my calendar it says April 1 is the beginning of DST. I guess Bush passed this bill to move DST up and back 3 weeks so now, we don't "fall back" until Nov 4.
We're in full "tech GO" for Annie Jr. at Noble Fool. The cast is doing a good job. The orphans are stronger than the "adult" ensemble, which is very perplexing to me and Dan, the director. Yesterday, we teched the full 70 min show in 5 hours. Vocally, they are mostly ready. Still some rough moments here and there but not too many. We open next Saturday, Mar 17 at 10:30 at Pheasant Run in St. Charles, IL.
My new favorite beverage is hot tea (when did I become my grandmother?). I never thought I would switch from coffee to tea, but during the day I would rather sip on some decaf flavored tea now than a mild roast fully bodied cup a jo.
My friend, Brad S., went on for the role of Boq in Wicked on Thursday, Mar 8 (Go, Munchkinlanders!!) as I received a text saying "i'm bok tonight!!" (XO, BS). He has been a member of the ensemble since the beginning of Feb and went on for his u/s role in less than a month. I am so proud of him and if you haven't seen it yet, please go support Brad and the rest of the Chicago cast & crew of Wicked.
